Check your Brains in at the Door. (party, election, elect)

I love how come Election time, the opposing party has the answer to all the problems caused by the existing party in power. Once the opposition is elected they do the exact thing that they said they were going to put a stop to. It's as if there is a locker room that once a newly elected party files into office they pass a sign saying "Check your Brains in at the Door Before Entering" On the way out there is a sign saying "Collect Brains on the way out" lmao
