Default No bounce for obama - yet?

Gallup Daily: Race Tied as Democratic Convention Starts

Seems The One has not yet received that oft-looked for bounce after a VP pick. In fact he lost 2 points from gallup.

Perhaps the Olympics tamped down the enthusiasm or perhaps it was all the build-up of a 2 1/2 day wait for the announcement and then the obama campaign botching the 3 Am text message. Go figure.

Perhaps the obama campaign should consider hiring mature, experienced adults that eschew the kind of gimmickery we've seen from his current team.

Liberals have always used the idea of what it is suppose to be and if it is less then it is a bad thing, but with this they wont.

Many have said he should be 15% ahead going into this week, so to use the liberal analogy he is down by 15% right now with little to no bump.
