As someone in another thread mentioned, if you think Bush inherited weak intel then "i have some Iraqi oils wells to sell you." Don't be so ignorant.

We didn't go to war and then say "my bad". He WANTED this war and found the perfect time to launch it.

Al Qaida WAS NOT IN IRAQ and last I heard Al Qaida was the target after 9-11.
Just like under Reagan, a new organization within the intelligence community gathered the "evidence" needed to rush us into another war. Only 1/3 of Congress was smart enough to know that we didn't need to worry about Iraq.

Obviously, it's not resonating with America the way they would like.
Should we only vote for McCain because he's NOT Barack?

I don't feel safer due to Bush's policies, period. Thats MY electoral issue.

SOOOOO afraid that someone might get that bit of help to elevate their lives. That the Govt. might be concerned about the welfare of ALL Americans and not just the ones who are doing ok. "I'm not paying for someone else". Hey you do it everyday when your tax Dollars go abroad. Oh i forgot that it's for a foreign country and not the American who needs help. No complaints when millions go to Africa etc.

This misunderstanding is that there was a vow to never let atrocities like those go down again. Unfortunately Clinton saved a lot of money.....how did he do that....by cutting military budgets and weakening our ability to defend ourselves....The 3 axis of evil wasn't a new Bush idea....He had to make decision no other president has ever had to make on an enemy that is hardly definable.

I never once said you should vote for McCain either. Reading comprehension isn't just for standardized tests.

don't twist the posters words...

All democrats want is to HELP the families that need it. We NEED more neighborhood programs. We need to keep kids off the streets by giving them jobs and other activities their familes might not be able to afford. THey need healthcare that their parents may not be able to afford.

Its not for government to FORCE the neccesities onto the people who need it, its to make them available to people who actually need it.

My mom was on welfare when i was growin up buddy. SHe took money and food stamps to feed me and my brothers!

Today I own several properties and parking garages and have paid back the goverment everything they gave my mom in taxes 1000 times over!

Get out of here with that crap about goverment giveaways.

I'm the result of goverment services yet I can sit on my comfortable couch in front of my flatscreen drinking a latte and TOTALLY RELATE TO MICHELLE'S SPEECH. I'm the result of a governement investment and it's paid off!

Some of you people really have no clue that all familes are differant and may have differant needs at differant times. amazing

Cindy Hensley McCain - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suggest you do some research.

Things like:

"a non-profit organization, the American Voluntary Medical Team, from 1988 to 1995 that organized trips by medical personnel to disaster-struck or war-torn third-world areas. She continues to be an active philanthropist and serves on the boards of several charitable organizations.

There she participated in a movement therapy pilot program that laid the way for a standard treatment for children with severe disabilities;[17] she published the work
Movement Therapy: A Possible Approach in 1978

Cindy McCain founded the American Voluntary Medical Team (AVMT).[2] It was a non-profit organization that organized trips for doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel to provide MASH-like emergency medical care to disaster-struck or war-torn third-world areas such as Micronesia, Vietnam (before relations were normalized between them and the U.S.[18]), Kuwait (arriving five days after the conclusion of the Gulf War[18]), Iraq, Nicaragua, India, Bangladesh and El Salvador.[9][32][33][34][35] She led 55 of these missions over the next seven years,[17] with each being of at least two weeks' duration.[35] AVMT also supplied treatment to poor sick children around the world.[36] In 1993, Cindy McCain and the AVMT were honored with an award from Food for the Hungry.[9]
she met two infant girls she decided needed to be brought to the United States for medical treatment.[23] She decided to adopt one of the girls (her husband readily agreeing), later named Bridget[9] (who became the McCains' fourth child together), and helped coordinate the adoption of the other little girl, named Mickey, for Wes Gullett, a family friend.[9]

That year, McCain founded a new organization, the Hensley Family Foundation, which donates monies towards children's programs in Arizona and nationally,[9]stay-at-home mom during the balance of the 1990s.[21] She also held positions as vice president, director, and vice chair of Hensley & Co.[29][28]"
and she was largely a
