McCain is best friends with Bush and Bush is responsible for the death of 4000 of our children killed in his illegal war not to mention the thousands of civilians killed in Iraq.

But you people go ahead and dismiss the death of our children and keep focusing on this stupidity.

So..it's stupidity to ask questions of obama regarding his long-term association with domestic terrorists who never served a day in jail and have never apologized for their actions?

Another irrelevant issue?

No, its not stupid. It's been discussed ad nauseam.

It's on everyone's "con" list in contemplating the candidates. We know about it. The facts won't change.

The "con" on McCains list is BUSH and 4000 american deaths.

You choose which is worse and cast your vote.

In the meantime, can we move on to more substance like policy?

Can't you program your bot to throw in Ayres and Obama to keep just an illusion of being on topic?

Will Obama's close association with Ayers be beneficial to domestic terrorism?

While Obama's association (it's a stretch to say CLOSE) is an area of concern and is duly noted, i would have to say that in chosing between candidates - 4000 American deaths in an illegal war that McCain supports trumps Ayers.

Who Barack Obama is, is THE substance of this campaign. When a party nominates someone who is a virtual unknown they run the risk that all that people will want to know is who is this guy? Not a problem if the guy has nothing to hide. Unfortunately for Obama he's got so many skeletons in his closet that they keep popping out at inopportune times. That's why policy is taking a backseat in his campaign. And it's going to get worse because people are just beginning to pay attention. This may all be old news to political junkies but to the man-on-the-street this is brand new.
