Incumbent Dole now losing to Dem Challenger Hagan 42% to 39%

That's a two term GOP Senator in a Red State about to get the boot.

Keep that in mind when these GOPers tell you how bad it is for Dems...LOL

YouTube - 93rd

YouTube - Elizabeth Dole: Rocking Chairs

These are the two ads that are killing her. Good riddance.

I couldn't stand her when she did that interview with Leslie Stahl on 60 minutes.

You could tell right away she was this smarmy SNL Church Lady type that thought she was royalty.

I find it amusing that the '93rd rating' was cited by a 'non-partisan group', in this case, the very socialist McClatchy Company.

Please, can the NC State Democrat party run this ad with a straight face?

How in the name of G*d is the McClatchy Company socialist???!

Is that from some blog that disagrees with editorials in the Sacramento Bee?

Well, what do you expect when they poll 50% Dem to 35% Republican?

Notice that (D) by the pollsters name? That's a democrat outfit.

That's the only thing you right wingers can do is shoot the messenger. WATB

Here's how they calculate the rankings. Fairly.

Congress.org - Power Rankings 2008

The fact of the matter is people can't stand the GOP. That's why Liddy Dole is not going to the GOP Convention. She doesn't want people to associate her with the GOP.

Good luck with that.

Those poll numbers could tell a story about North Carolina. Her seat has been head by a republican continuously for decades. Liddy Dole replaced Jesse Helms some years back when Helms retired from congress. If her seat is about to go democrat, we could see this trend continue in North Carolina in terms of the presidential election. For the first time since Jimmy Carter, North Carolina actually might go blue. Its not hard to believe because North Carolina has elected a democratic governor since the 1980s.
