Yet John McCain went to Liberty Baptist College and spoke for Falwell, in order to "mend fences" with the Religious Right. He said he no longer believed that Falwell was "an agent of intolerance." And Rudy Giuliani gladly accepted Robertson's endorsement. So much for the Republican "mainstream."

I don't like Hagee, Parsley, Roberston, Falwell, or Wright. The difference? Obama called one of these hate spewers a mentor. BIG difference. Had McCain called one of them his mentor, I would be equally bothered. McCain was just pandering for votes in seeking their endorsements, and both sides are usually pretty guilty of large amounts of pandering to questionable groups simply to get more votes.

But when one considers a nutcase their mentor, it is easy to assume the mentor instilled plenty of nutcase thinking in their mentored.

The left is trying every thing possible to run from the logical connection of the concern over Barry being mentored by a lunatic. Its simply not working.
