You people are cracking me up. To compare being mayor of a small town and governor of Alaska--large, but sparsely populated with a built-in budget surplus--with Obama's service as a U.S. Senator is ridiculous.
But go ahead and enjoy yourselves now. I have a feeling it will be short-lived.
You're joking, right? You think being mayor of a small town and governor of Alaska counts as more experience than serving as a United States senator? While Gov. Palin was voting on whether to install a traffic light on the corner of First and Main, Obama was debating going to war in Iraq. Plus Obama has been in the spotlight for four years now while Gov. Palin has been posing for the cover of Vogue magazine. If that's all it takes in your book to be next in line for the presidency I should have run. Sheesh.
LOL....Nobama has done almost NOTHING while a Senator.
Alaska is of course an important state in regards to energy.
God watching Fox I thought the anchors were going to explode they were so happy. Funny when Bidden was selected it was all negative when Palin was it was all positive. yea Fox "news" is fair and balanced.
Biden was a stupid choice.
You don't pick someone to be your VP who:
a) has more experience than you;
b) has been involved in multiple scandals;
c) has questioned your competency to be president; and
d) has endorsed your opponent.

If you haven't noticed every President except two have been governors. Governor exp. always trumps senate exp. when the time spent in office is relatively the same. But why worry, she's just a vp.

Biden has been in the senate for almost as long as Palin has been alive. The question of experience has just made a 360 degree turn.
So it's going in the same direction as before?
Sorry, couldn't help it.
Interesting choice by McCain. I still think Obama will win, but it should be close and fun to watch.
