good point. leftists who have spent the past 20 years jeering at stay-at -home moms, now shrieking that this particular mom should stay home- that just may be the ultimate in hypocrisy.

they seem terrified of this woman.

Down syndrome has many various ranges of intellect. Almost all Down kids go to regular schools as they can build upon their potential and all are encouraged to attend daycare or preschool. How narrow minded of you to belittle a person for their choice to work.

A woman... from a blue collar family.... who is a state governor... with a record of fiscal responsibility.... and ethical reform... who has taken on Big Oil... who knows how to handle a firearm... who in fact, hunts and fishes... who has five kids... with the oldest son about to ship out to Iraq... and whose youngest is a special-needs child... and she's pro-life... and was a Miss Alaska runner-up... and a hockey mom... with a union-card carrying husband... who works in the oil industry... and is a rugged outdoorsman... and a conservationist.
Brilliant mac, just brilliant. It's all about the base guys. The republican/conservative base will get fired up and obama will lose. McCain will attract the indies and moderate dems as well.

She's great, a female on the ticket, experienced as govenor, has a high approval rating (80% +)..there are plenty of very excited people at my work today that didn't like McCain at the start but now seems to changed.

Go get em Sarah Barracuda!!

Oh and so long for Obamas five minute of fame for his speech last night..NO ONE cares about that now.
Yeah well lets see what "Miss America" has other than good looks. This news to me is extremely frightening. If McCain wins this election and GOD forbid something happens to this man, she will be our President. OH! MY! GOD! McCain scares me but this no name women scares me even more. Heaven helps us!

I don't think they allow atheist in the moral majority- so that leaves me out.
If Michelle can work full-time then Sarah will work it out, like so many of us mothers do.

Belittle?
No. I'm just reminding the republicans out there of what their 'family values' party thinks about working moms.

Republicans do not need an un-informed reminder from you. You need to stop babbling as you don't realize that family values have nothing to do with whether you are a stay-at-home mom or a working mom. Family values are raising children in a loving environment with two parents and teaching morality and Christianity. Democrats have made it difficult for many hardworking families to live on one income as the US pays the second highest tax rate in the world. I understand that the idea of Family Values many be foreign to you as democrats have spent years trying to destroy them.

Since when do you have to be a christian to have family values? Many families teach good values that are not of the christian religion. And actually, Bush raised the taxes for middle-class Americans and lowered them for the rich. That's why we have to have two incomes to make a living nowadays. Get your facts straight and put the blame where it belongs, with the Republicans.
