Rasmussen is showing the same thing. Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll - broken link)

Obama 47% / 49% with leaners. Also Obama favorability rating up to 57%.

That's a real D achievement. How much did Obama spend on the anointing, by the way?

In all honesty folks. It's too early to determine his bump.
He'll get a bump.

Believe me, it's "lame" too because it's not showing some people what they would prefer to see

Right, as I understand it...these figures reflect opinion before Obama's acceptance speech. Senator Obama will show a much larger bump in a few days.

WAIT a minute. You people are unbelievable. The announcement was yesterday afternoon. A friday afternoon Labor day weekend. And you totally disregard any statement of facts such as:

The current results are based on Aug. 27-29 interviewing, which includes two nights of polling during the convention and one post-convention night on Friday.

And you didn't mention he dropped down already since the anointing night poll.

This forum is really a waste of time. All women bashing and sneaks hoping to make some point that is pointless.

Did the exit polls last election teach us NOTHING about the accuracy of polling in general? Honestly.

They're helpful in some ways, sure, but let's not put too much stock in their ability to gauge response to specific events.
