You guys just don't get it...but we'll still let you participate in the rebirth/re-energizing of our country once President Obama takes office...Obama supporters aren't poor sports.

She seems like a fresh face with boundless energy and her heart in the right place. Certainly more hopeful than tired old Joe Biden, a thirty-five year veteran of the sameold sameold....
If I needed anything to convince me how vital it is that we elect a president who believes in and spreads the message of hope and idealism it is the awful cynicism expressed on this forum. American has lost what made us great and we really need a leader who will help us reclaim it before it is too late. I grew up in the 40s and 50s when people took high ideals and the belief that America could do anything for granted. Now days such belief is just mocked and people honestly seem to believe that the idea is "I got mine and to heck with you" is the American way. This is so sad. I hope it is not to late.

The American way is supposed to be about personal freedoms with as little government influence on us as possible. Those looking for a leader don't really understand the foundations of our country or what we should stand for.
Because one of the reasons friends/co-workers told me they were voting for McCain was that he has "experience", but those same people have told me that they are more scared of Palin taking over as president than Barack Obama. I think most undecideds will feel this way.
