If McCain had pulled this guy out of his hat, we'd be laughing just as hard. And he doesn't even have the amusing detail of being a runner up Miss Alaska. (Or having a BA in journalism from the University of Idaho--woohoo, talk about credentials!)

Sorry, Johnny boy but pulling people out of a hat like that just makes people snicker. If you'd started talking seriously about her in July--if you'd let people get to know her and and given her a decent chance to get prepared for the job--she'd get a better response.
