In addition, I do NOT consider abortion a form of birth control, and I have always been diligent in my use of birth control. This pro-life issue is also a matter of our government and rabid pro-lifers telling me what I can and can't do with my body, and I vehemently object to that line of thinking. Stay the **** out of my uterus!
Totally agree. Also, leave the gays alone. Let them share the same freedoms as everyone else. If they want to be in a committed relationship, let them have the same rights and legal priviledges that marriage provides.
Stop trying to legislate your morals onto everybody else!

If Obama and the democratic party were pro-life, yes, I would give them a look. Yes, there are other issues, but IMO NOTHNG trumps killing the unborn. Other issues pale in comparison. As long as the democratic party, in general, supports this "supposed" choice, and the republican party doesn't, I will be pretty much forced to vote republican.

i think that another main reason that people will not be voting for obama is that he is absolutely for bigger government and there are a lot of people who do not want bigger government. monopolies are never good for the consumer but competition is.

There is mention in the Bible of taking care of the little things before you are given much greater things. God made man and set the process going to reproduce. Is it really our job to start messing with that process. I think not. Would I want a president that did not even have the understanding that to mess with this process is wrong. I don't think that would be a very wise person. I think the president should be wise.

If the president cannot even protect an unborn child, how is he going to guide the protection of an entire nation.

This is not a question I would have asked of Obama, but it would have been something I would have had to think about with Hillary Clinton. There's just not much about Obama that I like. The biggest thing I don't like is his attitude. It is all about him and nobody else or their feelings matter. Selfish! Selfish! Selfish!

i don't understand how people can defend abortion rights by saying "it's my body i can do what i want with it"

when what they are doing is destroying another person's body by aborting it.

people are so far removed from nature and reality. people want to eat junk and be healthy, absorb nonsense and be intelligent, live in the desert and have green lawns, have sex but not babies, on and on..

really, how hard is it to carry the child for 9 months and give it up for adoption if you don't want to raise a family at the moment? i promise he or she would appreciate that alot more than being ripped limb from limb from their own mother's womb.

i really don't like thinking about these things.. i'm gonna stay out of this thread lol

when you're debating with people that can justify killing babies, it just doesn't pay to try to reason with them.

There are very clear historical reasons why we don't privatize "almost everything." When the country was founded, everything was in private hands and over the last 200+ years we have found that those privatized services just don't work!

Now for this repeated nonsense about Obama being a "socialist," if there aren't two words that more abused than socialist and fascist I don't know what they are. Obama isn't a socialist by any known meaning of the word, nor is there any connection between Obama's policies and those of any socialist movement in history.
Actually, privatization does work. It doesn't nearly as often produce money pits like Amtrak, the U.S. Postal Service, welfare, medicare... and all the other failed government crap crammed down our throats by SOCIALISTS, yes, socialists, like FDR and LBJ, among others, including some Republicans. It also produces better results, while using less money. In fact, it actually makes money most of the time.

You should go back and study what socialism is. That way, you'll know why Obama truly is socialist.
