Lightbulb Republican vs. Democrat

I previously asked about the president and now that the parties are set with their vice presidential pick, how do we feel now? If McCain and his running mate are extreme anti abortion advocates (against a womans right to choose) will that hurt them or will the choice of Biden (an elder statesman) hurt Obama?

I don't deny it. I am a middle class civil servant who was tired of the Bush regime trying to take away the health benefits for my family and considering all the money we have put into the war; we could have established universal healthcare,an alternate fuel program, fed all the homeless,etc...also I believe in a womans right to choose. Now if you think McCain is going to be much different then our current mistake you're crazy.

I find it stunning that the same people who disparage the Bush administration for (even wrongly as I think) defending the country as charged by the Constitution, are willing and want to spend the same money purchased through debt for things not in the Constitution. Same coin, different sides.

Well for arguments sake it just shows what could have been done.We entered a war with Iraq that was not provoked and only went there because Sadam originally started with Daddy and Junior was trying to fight daddy's battles. If it was for oil we would have taken it.Afghanistan should have been the "ONLY" country that we went after, after 9/11.Also giving trillions of dollars away was not what we were looking for but it shows where we could have gotten for the same money. In essence we could have saved billions and social security wouldn't be going under and they wouldn't be cutting school programs also the dollar wouldn't be virtually worthless against other currencies including the canadian dollar which ours used to be double now we're less then even.
