Um, did you happen to look at the dates when this poll was conducted? Two-thirds of it was conducted during the Dem. convention BEFORE Palin was announced. LMAO.

Im sure next week McCain will see a bump in the polls...how much is hard to say. Palin will be a hard sell for some.

Actually I was referring to McCain - but you are right, Obama's speech has probably not been fully accounted for either - though the Palin announcement by McCain will probably offset some of that.

I do not remember seeing anything about any 20% bump, I do remember all of you saying that Obama would be up by 20 on Friday, so McCains pick just wiped that out real quick.

Even Kerry was up by 15% at this time in 2004, so the dems have lost their grip.

Imo this poll is lame I want to see what the polls say in 2 weeks once the dust is settled and that will paint a clearer picture-we don't even know Pailin yet
