McCain can't win on the issues, so let's attack Obama's character by making something out of nothing. The Republican way!

Yes, you do get a fail.
You can't deny the fact that mainstream media (meaning TV and the large portion of newspapers) is left-wing, except for Fox News.

Non-left leaning is Fox News and talk radio.
Left-leaning is CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNBC, PBS, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and many other big-city newspapers.

And the reason that most (sucessful) radio hosts are right-wingers is because most people don't want to hear left-wingers complain about how "bad" the U.S. is. Left-winger radio hosts can't get an audience because enough people disagree with them that they can't get ratings. Air America is an example.

Your argument is so outdated, are most people in the media liberal, yes. This happens for a couple reasons, media types tend to be creative and most creative people are liberal. Plus, if you go into news journalism you are opinionated and usually go to a pretty good school, liberals are smarter then conservatives, not always, but usually.

Newspapers are irrelevant and the LA Times is owned by the Tribune, a conservative company, they haven't ben liberal in a few years. Plus papers are regional, most people in Baltimore don't read The NYT. Cable news you have to pay for. Radio is free and talk radio is everywhere and 9 out of 10 times it's conservative. Air America has failed, but it's more a problem with the company and business model then it is with it's political view point , they were started by crooks. Plus the only papers that have seen growth in the Top 10 papers are the USA Today, The NY Post and WSJ, the latter two being conservative.

USA Today has done a first story on the Obama Bill Ayers Connection. The link and part of the story is below.

Why would Barack Hussein Obama "be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it?"

Obama dogged by links to 1960s radical - USATODAY.com

CHICAGO — Conservatives are stepping up efforts to turn 1960s radical Bill Ayers into a political liability for Barack Obama.
This spring, Obama's links to Ayers briefly became a campaign controversy. Now American Issues Project is spending $2.8 million to air a TV ad highlighting links between Obama and Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground Organization, which opposed the Vietnam War and was responsible for several bombings.

Obama released a rebuttal TV ad Monday. "With all our problems, why is John McCain talking about the '60s, trying to link Barack Obama to radical Bill Ayers?" a narrator asks.

A movie, Hype: The Obama Effect, was first shown Sunday in Denver. It was made by Citizens United, another conservative group, and explores the Ayers-Obama connection and questions whether Obama can unite the country.

Documents released today by the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will be scrutinized for clues to the relationship.

THIS is just heating UP and I can't wait.

Stay tuned for a whole OBAMAFEST.

We'll see the charming Rev Wright, the crazy priest, the wife's racist writings and a whole lot more.

You don't think Americans are going to lose their country to a Marxist radical racist that easily do you?

I voted yes because there's a longshot that it will be on PBS. But since Bill Moyers (who aired "the selling of the war") is such a flaming liberal I won't count on it.

once there is a solid connection beyond "associated with each other", then sure...run with it...air it out.

Trust me, if there was something that stuck, we would know.
