None of us like war, just as none of us like the violence of chemotherapy or radiation to fight the presence of cancer in the body. And I'll be honest, President Bush could have been a lot more forceful in keeping federal spending on pork, waste and earmarks firmly in check.
But I'm going to ask you why you think Obama should and will win the election, and what you think he's going to do to improve the situation as far as our current world conflicts are concerned. And especially why you think the things Obama's going to do are going to improve the situation.

Bush is a laughingstock throughout the world. McCain carries the same'ol Bush doctrine.
Barack is the new face of Democracy.

2) Iran, and NK were able to test missiles, because Bush was busy bogging us down in Iraq, while refusing to use diplomacy. Since NK tested these missles, Bush decided that diplomacy might be a good idea again. Yet another one of Obama's positions (ie foregin policy) that Bush adopted.
3) China, who basically own the United States of America at this point, aren't going to attack us. If they wanted to ruin us, they'd simply quit buying all our debt. It would make Bush's eight years casino economy look like a cake walk.
And, this is happening on Bush's watch, why hasn't Bush done anything about it? Now, the viewer is to overlook the time period from which this came and pin it to some bull**** hypothetical scenario in the future? Yea right.
4) Russia: Wow, we've seen how ineffective Bush has rendered us at this point haven't we? Wanna hear my latest impression of Bush handling the Georgia conflict?
"Stop, or I'll say stop again."
5) Clips of Osama Bin Laden...How many have been made since 9-11? during Bush's reign?
6) They are right: Al Queda is growing. Where they once did not reside in Iraq, they have used our occupation as a recruiting tool of sorts. Bringing more young, angry Muslim men to their cause. According to the National Intelligence Estimate, because of our occupation of Iraq, we are LESS SAFE now.
Al Queda has also grown again in Afghanistan as well. Because of Bush's half measures, and dicking around in Iraq, we have seen a reassurgence in violence, and also Taliban leaders BACK IN THE GOVERNMENT. Which means, our soliders died FOR NOTHING.
7) "Death to Israel", last time I checked they were not a state of the union and had the fourth largest nuclear program in the world. That and Iran is nowhere close to building a nuclear weapon.
8) The Clinton Card: Bush's administration was handed over all the intel Clinton had on OBL. Not long after, Bush's cronies recieved an intel report that claimed AQ wanted to hijack planes and fly them into buildings. Guess what they did about that? Nothing.
But I suppose if you're blaming Clinton, then you are part of the blame America first crowd. One who blames America for the attacks on 9-11. Myself? I blame the terrorists.
FEAR AND IGNORANCE. It's all the republicans got.
Pretty sad.

you have minimized the george bush legacy to this country, 9 trillion dollars and the most hated nation on earth. the platform of obama is to stop the war. its that simple. wars cost money. we are going broke fast. as to your video, ---its a fear based attempt to create support for a DOD driven warlord administration.

I hate to break it to you, Huck, but "stopping the war" will only be an invitation for radical jihadists to engage in a degree of mayhem within our borders that will make 9/11 seem like just another ordinary day in our history.
Should we have fought Hitler and the Nazis during World War II? Before you answer that, keep in mind that Hitler didn't attack us on December 7, 1941. Should we have sent 3,393 American troops to their deaths on D-Day? The National World War II Museum, New Orleans (broken link) Where were you when President Clinton sent American troops to Bosnia? Protesting, I trust? Do you think "diplomacy" is having any effect whatever on those who have been and are still getting slaughtered in the Darfur region of Sudan? Would "diplomacy" have served as an effective substitute for the Civil War in putting an end to slavery in America? There was "peace" prior to the attack on Fort Sumter, but with slavery as a way of life in the South, what kind of "peace" was that? Roughly 620,000 troops died in the Civil War. American Civil War Casualties, Fatalities & Statistics Before our war in Iraq, Saddam was slaughtering multitudes of Kurds. Was that "peace"?
There are a hell of a lot of nasty folks throughout the world who mock and laugh at our past attempts to solve conflicts in a diplomatic manner; and especially in light of not only 9/11 but on past Islamofascist attacks on America dating back to the Carter years, I don't really give a rip what the hell the rest of the world thinks of America, and you can quote me on that! I challenge any of you to name one other nation on this earth in all of human history that has acquired the same degree of power as the United States and has done so much good with it, including shoveling AIDS funding to the African continent under President Bush to cite but one of countless examples! You can't.

FACT: Condi Rice has been working with the Iraqi government and NO MATTER WHO WINS the election, we're going to be out of there in 2009. The real question is -- who would command a reasonable and confident strategy for bringing home the troops. The man with extensive, real military experience or the rock star?
FACT: Putin's Russia has been thumping the war drums and preparing their country for another Cold War for probably the past two years. Last year, I saw a documentary on the Putin Youth program which encourages Russian supremacy and American hatred. Russia attacked Georgia, is threatening us and Europe over the proposed missile launch site in Poland, and is claiming part of the Arctic as its own for the oil. Bush is afraid of Putin and Russia. Who would we trust to handle Russia firmly and intelligently -- the man with military experience who endured several years of torture or the rock star who can't even handle criticism?
FACT: Iran and N. Korea are trying to develop nuclear weapons. Russia is assisting them. Will preventing them require firmness and finesse in diplomacy or chants of "Yes we can!" ad naseum.
The bottom line is, do we need a cheerleader or a firm leader?
I know I've answered that question for myself.
