I don't know anyone who had sex in the 6th grade. Some do, but you can't possibly think that's the norm. My problem with the whole thing is not that a 17 year old is pregnant, but that it is the 17 year old daughter of a holier than thou, abstinence only education promoting republican, and instead of an embarrassment, it is being touted as a proud pro-life moment.

From what I understand from the fauxgressives on this board, Bristol Palin, who is almost 17, is to be EMBARASSED because 1) she didn't abort the baby in secret, and 2) she's getting married and it's a sham marriage.
Guess if she had the baby and jumped on welfare she'd be heroic and "doing the right thing" for the baby!
