You know, I'm not a die-hard Republican and have voted for Democrats in my time. True, I would love to see McCain and Palin lead this country and think they would do a better job than Obama and Biden, but if Hillary had won the Democrat nomination I would not mind her becoming our next president. It's not a party thing with me, but I honestly do not feel that Obama is up to the job. I'm not being ugly about it, but I do not feel our country will be safe with him in office. He needs more years of experience and a proven track record for me to trust him.

Fortunately times are changing and African-Americans are getting support from white people to be in the position to be president. Even where I live Greensboro, North Carolina, a medium sized city which has a population of about 260,000. We just elected our first African-American mayor, who is a woman BTW and this year the city is celebrating its bicentennial. The vast majority of Greensboro residents are white. So times are changing and people are looking beyond race.

Did GW keep you safe? I don't think so, 9-11 was on his watch, and in August prior he disregarded intelligence warnings.

So you are comfortable with a 72 year old man keeping you safe (he is approaching life expectancy for a man). If he dies are you comfortable with Sarah Palin leading the country, and keeping you safe?

Obama has years in the State legislature, and the U.S. Congress. And what is your definition of keeping you safe? Killing people in another country because of oil? He is a Harvard educated lawyer, that can logically think through problems.

To quote the Great Ben Franklin,

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Think about it.

George Bush kept America safe after 9-11, inspite of the Defeatcrats.

Back on 9-11, I admit, it did not look good for America. But Bush saved us from the terrorists.

Not if her husband had his way, then she would just be a great woman, or a great Alaskan woman.

Why is it that so many people keep saying that if Hillary got the nomination they would vote for her?. Don't you all know you can as i will write her name in !!! you have that right !!! Food for thought, she almost got the nomination in the Democratic Convention > And if you add the few Republicans that might change their vote for her now ??? DO YOU THINK ? that maybe this election could be a real change! . We really will not know unless we do vote for the one WE want to become our President. It's not over yet.
