is it me or does the Republican convention look like a DEPENDS commercial? Wow, it must have been most of those folks bedtime. Nothing against seniors, I love my grandparents...I really do, but how is it that only very old people show up? Then again, they probably vote more that any other demographic too, so maybe they are the only ones that matter I guess.

OMG, this has nothing to do with how I feel politically. However, I was thinking the same thing. DEPENDS commercial all the way. I'm sure when Palin arrives it will brighten up the place.

Yes, I pretty much thought I'd accidentally stumbled onto an AARP convention instead.

But there's been a lot of "they're all old!" talk around here tonight...so don't be surprised if you get slammed for bringing the subject up again. (OTOH, it's possible the pubs here have memory loss and will think they're hearing this for the first time, in which case you're safe.)(/ducking)

could it be just where the news agencys wanted the cameras pointed? if you looked around a bit when they were zoomed out, there were quite a few pockets of younger people.

I thought Cindy McCain looked like the youngest one there. The only young ones you might have seen was probably the grandchildren that had to come along with there grandparents because there parents had to work. ha ha ha ha

It takes a few years to get wise enough to be a Republican. I used to be a Democrat. I finally realized that the policies of the Democratic party are really not good for the nation. Now my son has been a Republican for years. Guess he is just smarter then the rest of us. He had to work this week, since he takes care of himself and his family, so you won't see him on TV.

At least they know how to dress!

Old looking convention for an old looking man! I didnt even want to waste my time watching it, even though I bet it was somewhat entertaining at times listening to all of their B.S. What jokes they are... silly repubs.

This is no joke. Cadillac had actually set up model cars in the lobby to sell to the crowds...LOL

I figure in 2012 Ensure and Depends will have booths set up.
