We're having ourselves a little "Palin Party" here this evening--a few friends and family coming over for dinner and coffee and to watch the convention. We are really excited to hear her speak.

Anyone else?

Make sure you tell the RINO "conservative" guests to avoid getting any coffee or red wine on the living room couch.

I'll be watching too.

I hope she decides to talk about what she's going to do for the other 49 states not named Alaska this time.

I don't know what you're expecting, other than:

1. A bunch of non-specific catch-phrasey comments, followed by shrieks of joy.
2. A lot of Republicans agreeing with, well, a Republican. And shrieking with joy.
3. Pans into the audience, showing people shrieking with joy (on cue).
4. A speech written by someone besides the speaker.

(Same with any acceptance speech; this isn't specific to Republicans or even to Palin.) Where the rubber will really hit the road is when there's an actual debate. Now THAT I can't wait for...I'm buying a tub of popcorn for that one.
