This information I found in 9/3/2008 New York Post. They listed their source as Gallup Poll.

In 2000, Al Gore received a 16 point bounce from his convention.

In 1988, Michael Dukakis received a 11 point bounce.

In 1984, Walter Mondale received 12 points.

Obama received a 8 point bounce.

I can't get over, how Al Gore received a sixteen (16) point Democrat Convention bounce and lost.

It's almost as strange as picking a maverick VP and getting zippo bounce.

Odd things happen in life.

Yeah, just think, if Gore could have a time machine instead of that nifty private jet, he would be getting the blame for blowing up the towers. Isn't he glad he didn't win, so HIS FLATULENCE can go high-assing around the world spouting his fatuous ideas and making millions off of fatuous people such as yourself.

Al Gore did not lose. He won the popular vote and after the votes in Florida were ACTUALLY COUNTED, he won there too. He thus clearly won the election, which was clearly stolen. DO THE MATH. THE FACTS DO NOT LIE.

Nope. He lost his home state which would have given him a win. History is helpful, dude. Maybe the Tennessee results came in after your bedtime.

So instead we let rednecks just fix elections. Oh, I see... that's the definition of democracy in Websters. My mistake.
