Don't forget: How about all those other terrorist sympathizers who ALSO served on the board with Ayers and Obama? I mean, seriously, just LOOK at this list of radicals. That Obama is such a liar. He not only palled around with Ayers, but with all these other terrorist sympathizers, too. And Annenberg--you know, the billionaire Republican who funded this excrescence of an educational board, who KNOWS what kind of other terror organizations he was funding!! Scary, I tell you. Downright scary.

Board of Directors
The founding Board of Directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge as announced in 1995 were:[39]
Patricia Albjerg Graham

Barack Obama, civil rights attorney at Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland; lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School; member of the board of directors of the Joyce Foundation and the Woods Fund of Chicago; winner, Crain's Chicago Business 40 Under 40 award, 1993; former president of the Harvard Law Review (1990–1991); former executive director of the Developing Communities Project (June 1985–May 1988)[25][40][41][42]

Stanley O. Ikenberry, president of the University of Illinois (1979–1995); member of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago (1983–1995); former professor of education (1965–1971) and senior vice president (1971–1979) of Pennsylvania State University

Arnold R. Weber, president of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago (1995–1999); member of the board of directors of the Arie and Ida Crown Memorial and the Tribune Company; former president of Northwestern University (1985–1994) and the University of Colorado (1980–1985); professor of labor economics and friend and colleague of George P. Shultz at MIT, the University of Chicago, and in the Nixon administration[43]

Ray Romero, vice president and general counsel of Ameritech; Chicago School Finance Authority board member (appointed in 1992 by Governor Jim Edgar); candidate in the 1996 Democratic primary for the 5th Congressional District of Illinois; winner, Crain's Chicago Business 40 Under 40 award, 1991; former Illinois Commerce Commission commissioner (appointed in 1985 by Governor Jim Thompson); former civil rights attorney as Midwest regional director of MALDEF where he was lead counsel for Hispanic plaintiffs in the 1985 Chicago ward remap[42][44]

Wanda White, executive director of the Community Workshop on Economic Development; former policy director of the Women's Self-Employment Project; former deputy commissioner of economic development under Chicago Mayors Washington, Sawyer and Daley

Susan Crown, president of the Arie and Ida Crown Memorial; vice president of Henry Crown & Company; daughter of Lester Crown[45]

Handy Lindsey, Jr., executive director (1988–1997) then president (1997–2003) of the Field Foundation of Illinois; former associate director of the Chicago Community Trust (1986–1988)

The final Board of Directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge in 2001 were:[46]
Patricia Albjerg Graham
Barack Obama
Edward Bottum, managing director of Chase Franklin Corp.; former president and vice chairman of Continental Illinois Bank[47]
Connie Evans, founder and president of the Women's Self-Employment Project

Are you seriously claiming that Obama had someone killed?

Uh...you've gotten your names wrong here. It was Walt Monegan that was fired, and not Wooten. Wooten was the BIL. Sorry to have to bring it up, as I agree that she violated the ethics code, but we really need to stick to the truth here.

The ethics rule violation seems to be based on the assumption that it was "likely" Monigan was fired for reasons other than what Palin said - namely wooten.

It seems "likely" is not based in evidence, just a judgement by a partisan investigator.

They gave Obama the headline "Abuse of Power", other than that there is no there there. She broke no laws and certainly was within her right to fire monigan, for whatever reason.

Wooten still has his job - how scary is that? The guy is obviously unstable and a "postal" candidate.

We do realize that the supposed ethics rule violation had nothing to do with the firing of monigan?

It had to do with her "inaction" when it came to Todd talking to people and making phone calls.

I resent being called a liar when it's a fact. Palin DID fire the longtime police chief after being elected Mayor of Wasilla. She also sent a letter to the librarian.

Here is the article from 1997 from the ADN archives.

Wasilla keeps librarian, but police chief is out (2/1/1997): Gov. Sarah Palin | adn.com

Here are some other aricles.

Palin pressured Wasilla librarian: Gov. Sarah Palin | adn.com

Police Chief: Palin Fired Me For Campaign Contributors

Palin was almost recalled as Mayor because of her irresponsible actions. This isn't a rumor, so why are you calling me a liar for stating what has been in several news sources and is a matter of public record?

It had to do with her "inaction" regarding Todd's advocacy.

Nancy, this is what you posted:

Quote:
She fired the Library Director and the longtime local Police Chief.
It's a lie that the "Library Director " was fired. Palin tried to fire the city librarian and it didn't stick. Yes, she's a vindicative, shallow, brain dead woman, but if you want to fight against her, at least do so with the truth.
