If youre seriously asking if being a "hockey mom" adds to one's pro or political credentials, then there's absolutely no reason to answer this. You already know the answer, and youre just being a smart a$$.

Well, the OP asked what a hockey mom is. I think there are plenty of other threads talking about her policies, her leadership, her experience, and on and on ...

Pit bull hater? - I love dogs. I've never met a pit bull though. Of course I don't know the politcal leanings of pit bulls. Do they tend to be right wing radicals?
This forum has been filled with women haters since her announcement using the most filthy terms and attacks ever seen in politics for as long as anyone can remember.

This forum has alread jumped on the joke of hockey mom as if they are too stupid to understand the metaphor. Well, of course that part is true they are too stupid...OR they are mostly kids which I believe is the problem mostly.

If you've never met a pit bull why say anything mean about them?

Classic OBAMA Democrat. Hatefull to anything that isn't ALL Barry ALL the TIME.

And for your information, I was and am a huge Bill Clinton supporter and would have continued to vote for him until he was too damn old to serve.

OBAMA supporters, clueless about politics never heard of the term INDEPENDENT.

Watch Lou Dobbs not just idiot, verge -of -a -nervous -breakdown Chris Matthews.

It conveys that she'll have no problem "hip checking" the likes of Ahmedinejad, Hugo Chavez and the United States Senate.

When I think of hockey mom, I recall the baseball mom's who lived exciting lives vicariously through their kids and ended up, literally bloodying each other's noses over snacks. I liked my kids to play the sports, but since I had my own interests, never felt I needed to be a third base coach or fencing master, too!

Please don't call the off-topic police. I think my post about her being a hockey mom, though not specifically responding to what a hockey mom is, arguably belongs in this thread.

I don't care about people's threads about what they think her policies are. I want her to tell me. It's the same criticism so many people had of Obama for so long - long on rhetoric, short on details.

I'm voting for Obama. If he doesn't win, I'm okay with McCain. But having Governor Palin as Vice President is still very unsettling to me. I don't want to hear about her being a hockey mom. It's irrelevant.

Oh, look! More psychic commentary from the Conservative Reich. Right. (Little slip there...)

This is hysterical--the intimation that the economy and Iraq aren't actual political issues. Excuse me, ACTUAL political issues.

I feel so bad, thinking about inconsequential things like foreclosures, oil prices and soldier deaths when there are, you know, animal rights bills just hanging out there in the balance.

These are the minds (I use that noun loosely) that voted in our current reich, folks. It's not really any wonder that the country is in the crapper.

Yeah we've met people like you. Ever since the 80's...the ones with such world impacting careers (meaning working to pay for vacations) and oh so important things to do like get their acrylics filled in, or take a nap.

Drop off the kids and come back later or have one of us drive them home. OR to our house if you forgot to show up.

Thanks for the reminder. "I HAVE MY OWN INTERESTS"

CLASSIC.....ask your kids their honest opinion of how they felt about that. Next time you speak with them...when would that be in another couple months or so?

My impression of "soccer moms," "baseball moms," hockey moms," etc. are mothers who spend a lot of time in their cars driving their kids to and from practice and games and providing snacks at appropriate times. Kind of like I do, taking my kids to play rehearsal, choir, lit club, guitar lessons, etc.

Well, Palin described you as an ugly really mean dog wearing lipstick.....does that answer your question?

BTW, I don't agree with the insulting Palin's opinion of you.
