I'm not a socialist and I would dissagree with that statement, too hyperbolic. It is not passing down the ability to command the resources of the nation, but of aaan individual family. See the difference? Besides it has already been taxed. So... any comment on the rest of my post about Teresa Heinz, if John Kerry had actually won the election?

Did you read....it's mostly on Media.....

The outrage over a $300,000 suit for someone who can afford it and nothing being said about almost 100 million a month being spent by both candidates.

No one else see's the irony of this.....as long as it's the other candidate....

Her ear rings cost double the amount of the home that I want to buy and slave away 40 years of my life for.

Why does Obama need a multi million dollar home in chicago? Couldn't he live in a suburb of chicago and spend the rest of the money on the community he was trying to organize?

Excuse me,
but tens of millions of americans who were brought up that way and have made something of themselves such as myself, certainly considers Barack Obama to be "one of us".

McCain simply married rich and Im not knocking that, more power to him, if he likes being a kept man that's his business, but implying that Barack Obama is out of touch with the common person is quite frankly wrong.
Did you think that way about kerry? And didn't edwards marry rich as well? Not saying its right, not saying its wrong...just saying it seems to be getting rather common for politicians..

He only wants to rally his minions, NOT live with the vermin!

Exactly. And don't tell me Michelle Obama doesn't spend a lot of money on her clothes, either!

With the nit-picking of the ladies clothes being worn. Palins daughters wore nice coverup ladylike clothes at the convention compared to Obamas daughters spaggetti strap dresses showing a lot of skin at their young age in vast public view. I'm not a old fogey (a little) maybe, but did think Obamas girls did not dress correctly for their age. Steve

There's this black belt she seems to wear like to every other function.

Girl, I feel like buying her some clothes.

But that's one of the things I love about the Obamas, theyre both so incredibly modest.
