The intro was the only good part. It was like a Ken Burns 'The War' Documentary... then stupid came out and ruined it.

His speech was sooooo long. How bothersome. Barely any of it caught my attention and none of it made me smile. Oh well.

Obama's speech last Thursday made me cry. I was expecting at least a little emotion from the Republicans. Where are their hearts?

Tonight John McCain "Bumbled" like Reagan, Talked about "himself" like Hillary "Strutted" like Kruschev and "bored" like Gore on Valium. Like Kruschev i was expecting him to hit the podium with a shoe, or in his case a Slipper. Thank God the B/S of the conventions are over with Delegates not even knowing which were the applause lines and applauding at the wrong signals. Let's now see what the debates have in store. McCain MUST stop sounding like Kerry with a "Plan" but no one knowing what the plan is. If McCain wants to win over the Independents he must now tell the country why they should vote for him to make the changes he now says needs to be made. He couldn't get change in all the years he was a Senator why will he suddenly make a difference now?

When he is elected president there is going to be a "special" program for your kind.
So anyway to stay on topic, it MUST have been a great speech because the moonbats are jumping off of buildings in desperation. They are going nuts!

I was bored to tears during McCain's speech. I guess that means I cried...

Amen!

I'm going to vote for McCain but I have to admit that I usually get bored with his speeches. I didn't with this one. I was mesmerized by his story and how he used his transformation as a POW to challenge ALL Americans to work for our country in whatever capacity. I thought this speech was a lot more poignant than usual.

I have to admit that it tugs at my heart to see him campaigning when he can't raise his arms, permanent damage from torture. And I hate it when trashy people yack about how old he looks and how awkwardly he moves. I don't care whether you admire him or not, but this man gave his all for his country.
