Unlike Barrack Obama's Vice President pick Joe Biden, who knows how the federal government works like the back of his hand, having worked in Washington for 30 years, Sarah Palin is in need of serious training. She has very little knowledge how Washington works or the issues facing America in foreign policy.

Regardless of your poltical leanings, isn't important to hire someone who does not need on the job training?

You base this on?
Here are some real facts:
Quote:
Her state is adjacent to Russia, a nation that has in recent years demonstrated a rising aggressiveness towards its neighbors. Georgia - the scene of a bloody invasion last month aimed at toppling the elected government there. Moscow has also conducted simulated strategic bombing runs with Soviet-era long-range, nuclear-capable aircraft. These offensive missions are designed to penetrate U.S. northern air defenses in a manner reminiscent of the most provocative of Kremlin behavior during the Cold War.
As it happens, the best of those defenses - including a squadron of America's state-of-the-art interceptors, the F-22 Raptor - are stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base near Anchorage. Palin would not only be intimately familiar with that facilities' vital role in protecting U.S. territory. She would also appreciate its importance in the projection of American power in Asia and beyond as much of the nation's long-range transport aircraft supplying our military operations around the world transit through Elmendorf. Every commander in chief should have such insights.
Speaking of geography, Alaskan territory is also along the trajectory of ballistic missiles launched eastward out of Stalinist North Korea. For that reason, among others, Alaska's Fort Greely was selected as the site for the principal U.S. ground-based defense against such missiles.
As that state's governor, Sarah Palin would know more about U.S. anti-missile systems than either Messrs. Obama or Biden.
Quote:
"Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units."
She is incharge of one of 120 counter terrorism units in our nation. Hmmm seems like the dems didn't do their homework and just spouted off again!
Quote:
"As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.
Quote:
She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans."
Not to mention her deal to run a 40 billion dollar pipeline thru Canada and Alaska, she is a past member of a union and took on corrupt union bosses; her husband is a union member and McCAIN/PALIN CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

I thought the whole mantra of their campaign was "change", getting away from the Washington insiders, lobbyists, and corruption.

I wouldn't call that any kind of "change", rather "more of the same".

Oh Gawd,
suddenly Sarah Palin is in the middle of the Georgia-Russia conflict? Get real.

And I think that's an awesome picture. The fact that our future President is multicultural is a real plus in my book.

Obama needs even Geography lessons and than he needs all the rest of the lessons since he hasn't more experience than a community worker

She's a no-talent pretty face, picked for the campaign, not for governing. She is a flash in the pan.

You can be sure she's being coached big time, we used to call that "being force-fed with a fire-hose."

No kidding but they don't count on people actually looking this up! LOL
Bidens own son is a lobbyist!

Biden is running for re-election as senator in 2008. In 2007, Biden reported that he "garnered $67 million worth of projects"[14] for his constituents through congressional earmarks.

Hmmm in a time when spending is out of control too!

Wow, I didn't know you could govern an entire state by being a "no-talent pretty face." Good to know.

Well if you want to talk about coaching... Michelle Obama has been coached how to appear to be a kind caring person in front of the cameras from Hillary Clintons coach!
