Even the minority leader, McConnell, said that this would be their strategy to win back control of congress in 2008. To the uninformed who listen to Limbaugh, Faux News and Hannity, it works. It drives me crazy when a few posters on this forum love to point out the congress approval rating and call it the do nothing congress.
Of course, some of the approval rating comes from Democrats, that are upset that congress has done nothing that even comes close to impeachment of W and Cheney.

The republicans aren't responding, but again on a few threads since this was posted, they try to knock down the democratic, so called, do nothing controlled congress. I guess they can't handle the truth, so they can use a false talking point that they just can't let go.
