I'd rather see thins be a little more like Germany here. They do not have the extreme social class divisions there because of thier safety net, no one falls through the cracks. They are a more civilized society and actually care for their fellow countrymen.

Your point is too true. A number of Republicans in Oklahoma like to scapegoat homosexuals, calling their agenda more dangerous to our country than radical Islamic terrorism. This is all too similar to what the German Nazis did to the Jews.
I can assure you that that 'letter' represents maybe a small minority of European views. It is the 'socialist' model of Europe that is not as bad as many Americans believe it to be, rather than the other way around.
Unemployment in the UK for example, is actually lower than the US and GDP per capita is projected to be higher than that of the states in 2008. Thats not bad considering universal health, welfare etc
In my opinion, it is not Obama that would send the US into a spiral, rather the continuation of the past 8 years of republican policy.
Post #10 is extraordinarily insulting. I've met Holocaust survivors personally and am floored by their stories of what they went through. For you to compare Nazis to American Republicans diminishes the horror of the Holocaust and is a cheap shot.
What, Republicans make you uncomfortable so you think you can equate that with being tortured, starved, and killed in a gas chamber? You people are SICK.

all they care for over there is the lazy people the ones that never worked and never plan on working!
The mere fact Europeans are in favor of Obama is reason enough to make sure he's never elected President. Why would we listen to a continent that won't defend itself against the onslaught of the radical islamist hordes? Let Europe burn.
