I don't know what the outcome of this election will be. But it's a sad state in America when the president could be chosen because of how much of a "Grand Slam" gimmick his running mate is instead of whether or not he or she is the most qualified person to do the job should the president not be able to anymore (this is really what the vice-president does, folks!). Does anyone agree with this?
I think it's just the initial media phase of this woman, that's all. Her other problem is avoiding the 24/7 news reporters, which in turn magnifies the spot light on her. Once they reprogram her with the party line and give her a foreign policy 101 crash course, she'll be out yamming it up and the attention will drift back to the debates.
You do realize that politics is a game right? If McCain had picked someone else would you have voted for him? He pretty much had to take a gamble like this, or it would have been a blowout come November.
No one really has questioned McCains exp. they just call him old as dirt...forgetting elders in general are usually considered experienced.
The people who are getting questioned about their exp. is Obama (P) and Palin (VP)...
It's sad when people won't except the way America runs (meaning voting and each person's vote counts)
It's sad that people are stupid because they don't agree with your view point.
It's sad when these candidates have spent 100's of millions of $'s and you think one of them is going to save the world and curb an obvious crash course.
It's disheartening. When I see the signs "Pit bull in Lipstick!", "Hockey Moms Unite!" "Hottest VP, Coolest State!" and other such drivel, I truly worry for our immediate futures.
No matter what party you support, don't we all deserve better? Our national leaders should be some of the finest minds of our country. We have got to start demanding more maturity and intellectual reasoning from our candidates.
