Read an article in our local paper today which was very interesting: About 35% of those polled (and again who knows who they talked with) said they had some or a lot of misgivings about a Mormon. The same poll showed about 60% of those polled would not vote for an Athiest and more than that a Muslim.

and I think if he gets the nomination people will decide to stay with Obama as there is almost no difference between them or let's say not enough to make people just on the bandwagon for Romney.

Maybe Pawenty, possibly Paul but he will not get the nomintaion, same goes for Johnson. If Perry gets in the race he could very well win. There are a few others that have not yet announced or have said they will not run, but when it gets down to the final decision, we will see.
You mention her getting out of politics, I don't think she is in politics right now: she is giving speeches, having a blast and making a hell of a lot money than you or I even thought of making.

Well it has to be someone that appeals to independents and right now that seems to be Romney. But it's still early.

Nita,
That is so funny. I only recently started paying attention again to politics because I was so disgusted in the late 90's. I heard the media bashing Sarah Palin and figured it was just liberal bias. Recently I became aware of Ron Paul and have started paying attention again - so I looked up some clips of Sarah Palin to see for myself and I'm sorry, I mean no disrespect to you if you like her but the woman is an idiot. She knows absolutely nothing about politics or world events.
Not my fault, I didn't make her that way.
If you want some examples just search 'Sarah Palin' on youtube.
I don't really care enough to "defend" my position, she speaks for herself, er I mean it speaks for itself.

What if Palin was Black and a Democrat?
RINO's would be comparing her to Maxine Waters.
