So this is what a community organizer does?
I wondered myself what a community organizer does, he helps the community to make it better, cleaner, nicer, easier to the people of that community to live in that area.
So, Mr. Community Organizer was responsible for a job that was suppose to be a 100,000.00 job to improve the area, adding a garden, walkways, walk of game etc.
Obama secured the grant money for one of this friends to do the work, now years later there is no park, no garden, no walk of fame, nothing. So where did the 100,000.00 money go?
Oh they did get a run down gazebo which is now being called Gazebo Obama or the Gazebo that Obama built.
It is sad to think that Obama would take 100,000 from taxpayers and did not make sure the money was used and the work was done in his own community. And the contractor, he is a volunteer for Obama as of right now.
This needs to be addressed, if this is just one thing he screwed up what other hidden monies did he pay people for work not performed using our money?
What about the apartment building Rezko got grants to rebuild and they never got done? Obama was the main reason the grants were paid to Rezko and the building is now condemed.
Something is very wrong here folks. He got his gazebo and it cost us taxpayers 100,000.00 dollars to do it.
A group of politicians, school administrators and community activists unveiled a plan Friday for a $1.1 million botanical garden in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
The proposal calls for a walk beneath the "L" tracks on Princeton Avenue, from 59th Place to 62nd Place. Backers said they hope it will help spur redevelopment in the impoverished area, boost neighborhood pride and soften the impact of traffic and pollution from the nearby Dan Ryan Expressway.
State Sen. Barack Obama (D-Chicago) said he planned to seek state funding for the effort and estimated that ground could be broken in early 2001.
The proposed garden also would include a gazebo, a parrot sanctuary and a walk of fame.

The only reason he came to Chicago was to become a member of the political machine. His community organizer crap, his church, his wife everything is a phony set up fake to make him out to be a caring, I am for you person who is like a robot. Everything he does has a reason, he wants to become President and will take down anyone who gets in his way.
He is a total fraud.
Lets see what he has to say about the 100,000.00 gazebo?

It could cost 100k to get a gazebo built in Chicago... considering it would most likely take union labor.

What?
100,000 for a gazebo?
Do you call this leadership? Do you call this good decision making?
No one in their right mind would use taxpayers money to build a 2500.00 gazebo? I know I had one built last year almost the same size as this Obama gazebo and it cost me a total of 2500.00 with gravel included, with screen included, with lights included, with steps included.
Talk about a lame excuse.

Ya'll are being petty.
Barack Obama was a community organizer from ages 24-27 after he graduated from Columbia University and before Harvard Law School.
I guarantee most 24 year olds aren't thinking about improving their community, I know I wasn't.

He still isnt thinking about his community. Now that he has real "power" to improve Chicago, he has done nothing.

Hmm... I guess you didn't see the humor in the post. Or you've never dealt with paying union labor rates

No I did not. Jobs like these are suppose to be bid on, guess Obama bypassed everyone and picked who he wanted to do the job.
The contractor was a no show, did not do the work, got the 100k and is now on Obamas campaign list of volunteers.
Would you pay 100k for this piece of crap?
