I totally agree. Palin has a Pentecostal background. Gee, that will really move us ahead in the gay rights department.

She'll absolutely TRY to throw the gay agenda backwards 20 years...but, she ain't getting elected anyway, so she can head back up to Eskimo country.

Once again, ignoring her voting record. There's a debate on a previous thread where this was fully discussed over the weekend.

I would be careful making accusations about her church in the face of the hateful Rev Wright.

Wow. It makes gay people look so good and smart when the only issue they can really rally around is whether or not the candidate "likes gay people." There's more to life, people. And you are seriously delusional if you think the Democrats really "like" gay people. The Democrats try to get every fringe group they can to support them and occasionally throw them a bone.

I didn't make accusations. I just said her church tried to pray away the gays and pray that they become heterosexuals. That doesn't come across as being kind to those that are happily different.

Why are they not praying for Buddhists, Hindus, and the anti-spiritual to be fascinated with Jesus and the Christian God?

Why does she have to target gays?
She is targeting gays, and after those are targeted, then she will get busy on other groups. But she is also targeting Muslims. At her church they read a scripture from the Bible that said to kill all, even destroy their religious statues. She believes that Bush was sent by God to go into Iraq, etc. One by one she would take away people's rights if she got in. Bush said that atheists are not patriots or citizens. George Bush states that atheists are not citizens or patriots

But you asked why? Because it is in the Bible. Of course what Bush said is not in the Bible, but it doesn't matter to him.

Because most religions view the act of homosexual activity as being a sin that needs praying to help the afflicted one to come into the light. Just saying. Not that I agree.
