I'm following the request put forth by the mod, to not duplicate. If you can't handle that request, well, you have a problem, huh? But we both already know that.

One of Obama’s early mentors in the Alinsky method was Mike Kruglik, who had this to say about Obama:
He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better.
The agitator’s job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the “realization” that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent “self-interest” in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease. In these methods, euphemistically labeled “community organizing,” Obama had a four-year education, which he often says was the best education he ever got anywhere.

Where are the "normal people"? I've challenged some of Obamas supporters to make a list of Obama campaign workers who were normal everyday Americans who had no radical or criminal background. So far zilch!
Good post!

I know the Republican Party wants to some how transport the US back to the 1950's but even McCarthyism was tired in the 50's.

The Democratic Party, the party for the 21st not the 19th.

Oh please.....

Obama's associations are very disturbing on the face of it and I for one think it bears further investigation...not swept under the rug until its too late.

In Artful Dodger style, Barack Obama, plays down his mentorship with Communist author Saul Alinsky. But Alinsky's son, L. David Alinsky, credits Obama for "learning his lesson well" from the Communist guru.

Indeed, Alinsky Jr. who credits his late father for the success of last week's Democratic National Convention, may have done something that Obama's detractors couldn't: blown the cover on the presidential hopeful's communist leanings.

No one can blame Alinsky for the pretentiousness of the Ancient Greek Temple from which Obama addressed plebes, or for the tacky neon colours on display at the Pepsi Centre, but it was Alinsky who wrote Rules for Radicals, the bible of the far left.

Judi McLeod is an award-winning journalist with 30 years experience in the print media. A former Toronto Sun columnist, she also worked for the Kingston Whig Standard. If you don't know it, Hillary wrote her thesis on Alinsky and was asked to come work for him... unike obama, she chose law school and married bill. Search for the thesis and read it. CHILLING stuff.
