It won't get any traction, because she's not saying she's ignorant of the VP's duties. She says she's used to being busy all day long as a governor, and she's not sure the VP job would be a productive use of her time. Obviously, she reconsidered, but this clip does not mean what her opponents want it to mean.

Actually a VP has no specific duties except for when the senate is a tie, he/she presides over.. It's the president who decides what the VP does.
