The New York Times, that liberal rag, admits that the word "Obama" is used many more times than the word "McCain" in the NYT Crossword Puzzle. Where will this media conspiracy end? Have they no shame?????
And what kind of an excuse do they give? Vowels!
Oh, they say a word like "Obama" makes it easy to construct a puzzle, and a word like "McCain" is hard to work in. Hah! They expect us to believe that? Hah! And double hah! Sounds like something worth getting furious about to me.... it's a media conspiracy, I tell ya. Time to summon up that faux outrage.
Hey, maybe it's even a reason to suspend the debate! We can't let it go on while this scandal remains unresolved.
This post got lost in the shuffle last night--thought I'd give it a second shot 'cause I think it's funny and we could all use a laugh today. It's going to be a tense day for some people.
As one who does crossword puzzles, I can absolutely believe Obama is a better puzzle word that McCain. What appears to by the king of crossword puzzle names is "ira", it seems like Ira Gershwin is a clue in some way in a lot of crosswords.
This is an outrage! And the NYTimes's so-called 'defense' doesn't make any sense. 'Sydney' is much easier to work into a crossword than 'Hussein,' so that argument falls flat on it's face!
And you know that the uber-liberal, do-nothing DemocRAT Congress is going to hush this up. Just like Dan Rather and Nobama's birth certificate, it's going to be the Krack Keyboard Kommandos who bust CROSSWORDGATE wide open!
Is the OP serious or is this a joke? A crossword puzzle scandal?????
lol, I thought it was funny yes but this was even more so
