What does this have to do with Obama? Unless you are accusing him of being psychic since the alleged affair happened after Obama left the church...

The only way this would remotely relate to Obama is the word "affair".....you know, since Obama had a one night affair with another man in the back of limo while they were both high on cocaine.

He is his lifelong mentor.

He has not proven to anyone he has left the church, if he loses this election his sorry butt will be right back there.

Has tons to do with Obama, Obama has said this man shaped his life.

I agree above, this issue is not dead yet, still lots more we do not know about.

Anything that keeps the "good Reverend" in the news is a reminder to the American people that Obama was (is) a member of the First Church of God D--n America.

In a time when people on this board are "seriously" wondering whether Sarah Palin, who left a Pentacostal church in 2002 to attend a non-denominational Christian Church, will start "speaking in tongues" when faced with a foreign policy decision, it's nice to remind them they will lose the "crazy religious nutjob" argument every time.

How does Wright's personal life have anything to do with Obama or the election?

Another garbage thread although I did find this little tidbit interesting..... Wonder what party he belongs to after this revelation.

"I was downright mad about this bull- - - -," said Fred, who said he is "in the oil and gas business," belongs to a hunting club and makes his own bullets in his garage.

"People wouldn't be happy to know that my wife was sleeping with a black man."

He added, "Rev. Haynes doesn't like the interracial thing, either. This was quite an issue for him."

Elizabeth Payne said she has been banished by Haynes and the flock at Friendship-West.

"I'm not a member of the congregation anymore; I'm not even allowed on the premises," she said.

What's new? I thought a sex scandal was a requirement to be a religious leader.

I agree, Palin is hands-down THE WINNER of the "crazy religious nutjob" title.

I only hope we will have seen the last of Crusaders in the White House on 01/20/2009.
