Ok, I have heard so much about this thing Obama said today about Sarah Palin being a pig with lipstick....and I found it to be incredibly sexist because it is clear that he is NOT talking about John McCain in that clip. It is directly attacking Sarah Palin as a woman, and it is extremely offensive.
But some democrats seem to think this kind of behavior is alright, and I do not. It is downright cruel and should not be tolerated.
McCain would NEVER dare to make a punch at Obama because he is black (and if he did, Sharpton and Jackson would be all over McCain) so I dont see how Obama playing the gender card is ok. You could guarantee that Obama would be up in arms, the media would be up in arms, and the Hollywood whiners would be up in arms if McCain took a swipe at Obama for being black.
Are we leading a double standard in this country? It is suddenly ok to put down women, and make insulting jokes about women, but when anyone says anything about Obama being black, suddenly they have crossed the line? It is just sickening how this whole system we have works, because however you spin it, it is still a form of prejudice.
And the Democratic party is suppose to be the party that accepts women. However, we know that to no longer be true.
So if I hear anyone offend Obama's race....it will not phase me in the least anymore, I might actually give it a rep point (for comments made about Obama, not other African Americans) and I will always point back to his sexist comments today. If he can dish the prejudice's....he better expect mud in his face.
McCain/Palin, the REAL change Washington needs in 2008!
Obama said his campaign was not going to engage in dirty politics. Yet not only has his campaign become one of the most repulsive and disgusting campaigns I've seen, he is now taking part in it himself.
Worse than the Bush smear job in 2000 against McCain????

Obama did not call Sarah Palin a pig. "Putting lipstick on a pig" is a common colloquialism that means a thin disguise doesn't change a thing's true nature. He meant that McCain saying "Change, Change, Change" doesn't have any real meaning. If you watch the speech, you will see that he was referring to McCain not Palin. Please watch the speech for yourself before you swallow what you read hook, line and sinker.
If you want to vote for McCain, please do it for real reasons not this hog-wash (no I am not referring to Sarah Palin, she is a lovely woman on the outside.)
It's not about Palin you dolts it's about the fact that Mccain and his campaign are trying to "put a tuxedo on doodoo". What they are selling is the same old BS politicians have been selling and they are attempting to pretty it up for the idiot Americans who fall for it every 4 years. That is the point he is making. If Karl Rove was on his team, THEN he would have meant it directly to Palin

Your reading between the lines and that is only supposed to be done with republican garble and gibberish. It's about their campaign, not Palin directly.

Your faux outrage is more comical than you are!
