While I understand what she is saying and the reason she said it is to reinforce with democratic women that she is anti-choice, it will be fodder for the GOP victim cannon.

So, what she is saying is that Palin would be an OK choice if she HAD an abortion.

No, she's stating the fact that Palin was chosen for fertility and ability to placate the crazy christian right based on her anti-choice agenda.

The Democrats have become completely unhinged. The Obama campaign took a solid punch to the chin, and it revealed a glass jaw. The whiners here come bluster and stammer all they want, but the polls tell the story of what is happening. Palin's pick was indeed a hail mary, and McCain scored a touchdown. In one fell swoop he managed to completely neutralize any memory of, let alone a bounce from the Dems convention. Even more so, he has sent the conservative GOP base in to ecstacy, ensuring money and volunteers. Third, he has caught the eye of the undecideds in middle America and they seem to like what they see. The campaign is now McCain's to lose. It's a beautiful thing.

georgia .. it's true. I'm not going to cap this message either. Sarah Palin was chosen to "energize the base" of the right wing christian conservatives who place child birth along the same lines as the birth of Jesus.
