Amazing! Brilliant! "Like a conversation!" Revolutionary! Obama has done it again!
Talk about reaching. Did I say that Obama came up with the socratic method of teaching? Please show me in my post that I said that. If anything, I pointed out that what Obama did in his teaching was a common pedagogical approach.

Gee, I can spell and I am for McCain. Many of the Obama supporters I have seen can't even write a coherent sentence. Maybe all the words are spelled correctly, but they are strung together in such a fashion as to make no sense.

I'm laughing at you all quoting articles exalting his style of teaching that was "like a conversation"... and saying that his abilities as a teacher will help him as President.

The man needs a lot more SCHOOLING himself before he can deign to use his "teaching" skills to run the country, when obviously, it will be the smarter, more experienced people around him running the show (like Dubya).

While we're correcting everyone's spelling, let's also have a grammar lesson.

"He should have GONE for 894th out of 899."

Learn your past participles, please.

There's no denying it: Obama was a great professor.

From personal experience, college professor evals can be BRUTAL. To get above half the possible score, is an achievement.

Quote:
Evaluations by students reviewed by TIME gave him consistently high ratings. For a winter 2003 course called Voting Rights and the Democratic Process, for example, he received a 6.07 out of a possible 7 for "overall evaluation of teaching performance."

There are plenty of uneducated fools on this board representing either "side."

We Libertarians are the ones elevating the discussion!
