I believe this thread was about Obama's plan to increase taxes in order to redistribute that money to people who "need" it. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. I'm sure a thread about McCain's illogical economic policies would also include the same statement only in reverse. See, they're the same party.

If and only if they lower taxes without interference. If you will note, my main concern was that the government, GOP or Demo, leave the economy alone. It will handle itself very well. It will occasionally be harsh, but it will be healthy.

The Bush administration got right taxation and trade policy, but its gross interference in monetary policy has had perverse effects which will mark the economy for years to come.

The risk with the democrats is that they will exacerbate the problems with perverse fiscal policy.

Oh, ok... let's redistribute the wealth.

1st: Redistribution is the basis of socialism, and last time I checked, socialism is the basic premise of communism.

2nd. Not one, not one socialistic system has ever succeeded throughout history.

Redistribution of wealth fails to create competition and without competition there is no need to work to eat.
