I think that believing one party is going to change everything is a fools paradise. Clearly neither party has any interest in true change. Now lets see if people are wise enough to see through empty campaign promises.
Oh I absolutely agree but I believe it is easier to change things when you are not using or planning to use the majority of Bush's people. I'll take a little change over none at all.

I don't see similarities in Bush and McCain. Let's drill, drill and drill to get off of social security with other countries for pete sake! Bush wouldn't do it, he was makin' money. Then again, we will probably hear about McCain cleanin' house the way Palin did in the Governor's mansion!
It is not the quantity, but the quality of change which will show to be crucial. What KIND of change does a marxist regime offer us as a freedom loving people, who desire to make our own way, stand on our own two feet, take personal responsibility for choices, and don't need the Giant Tit for survival? It may be useful in a future made up of little socialists graduated from a government run education system (review Orwell). That may take a few generations to come to pass. But am fairly certain is not desired by present day Americans.
Call it tough love, but apparently quite a few American's haven't had enough castor oil, so another 4 year dose may be required to cure them of their aliment, so perhaps McCain should be elected president. Personally I don't think that another 4 years is going to make it or break it. I believe in the resiliency of both the US economy and its people even though such resiliency will be put to the extreme test unless their is a significant turn around in the direction of the country. But if it requires 4 years of McBush to finally shake the cobwebs out of the brains of so many American's so be it.
We need to stop rewarding people for making promises they have not kept.
Many people have forgotten this congress ran and were elected on the idea they were going to fix Bush's economic policies ( that I did not think were that bad anyway ) and they have totally failed us.
With control of both sides and if they would work with others instead of always against them something could be done. Instead they are purposely not bringing bills to a vote, purposely causing economic woes just so they can get Obama elected.
For her not to allow a single vote on oil until after the election tells me she wants us all to hurt just they can have total congress of everything.
Far too many have suffered enough in the last 2 years to allow this to continue.
The games are over, time to get rid of do nothing congress members and for us to not reward them another term with this record of major disasters.
Do not forget this is the worst rated congress in the history of our country, and they deserve nothing less then to be voted out for their failures.
I will not allow any liberal to go to the White House when the one running is even worse then the entire failed congress.
If anyone votes for Obama based on his record in this congress and he would have control of both sides of congress then you are sadly mistaken on what we need to get America growing again.
First, its not 2 years, its only a year and 8 months.
Second, its not the kind of absolute power republicans had for 6 straight years, of both houses of congress and the executive branch. and even fairly conservative judicial branch. Moderator cut: removed
Third, you think 1 year and 8 months is enough to clean up republican's six years of mess made when they had absolute power of all 3 branches, and let's not forget the big clown is in the white house at this time.

Reason: you need to chill with the personal attacks

This is just a ploy by the left to but untruthful ideas into peoples heads.
I would much rather be voting with Bush then voting with this congress.
Obama has NEVER EVER crossed party lines or stood up to this FAILED congress on any single issue in 4 years. In fact he has voted with them 100% of the time.
There are many things Bush and McCain are far apart on, sure the liberals keep saying he voted with him 90% of the time, well they are not saying that was only for a short period of time and what was being voted on? Tax cuts for all of us was the main thing.
People need to start doing some research before repeating the fired Obermans daily lines.
If anything it is Obama who is much like Bush. McCain has a huge record of working with dems on key issues.

Would have repped you again if I could! Yes, yes, that unfortunately makes great sense, something I've discussed with a few friends and my family. If McCain does win (hoping not), after 4 years there may well be a surge of GOP voters switching parties..
Soo, what *could* be the outcome of a McCain presidency - more military action probably. But what else might happen, especially if he died in office? (But maybe we shouldn't even go *there*)
