Nothing sexist about it....
It is how it is how it has been or do you want to go to a country that no longer elects a president and 1st lady.

How dare I,..... I dare me as being a American of this country.

You must not understand service or bigger than yourself. Or hell even the duty of ones role.

What it means to be the president elect or 1st lady and how they act now is how they will act in the future. How your actions reflect our country to others in the world.
You dont have to like it you don't have a husband running for president. So I will give you that excuse of not understanding more than the self attitude and for being a liberal..
they are a representation of our country and everything we hold dear. If they do not hold these same endearments how are they to represent us.
Yes it matters.........

The first lady elect? What are you talking about? First of all, the election hasn't been held yet, so nobody has been elected to anything. Second, we are not electing a first lady, we are electing a president and vice president. And third, Michelle Obama doesn't have a duty to do anything. At this point, she is a private citizen who is volunteering her time to support her husband's candidacy for president.

Raising her two young daughters is her duty and responsibility, and if she decided as a mother it was a priority to be with her girls as they start their first week of school then that was as equally honorable and decent a thing to do as was Cindy McCain's decision to accompany her husband to the memorial today.

Since when did being a good mother and putting your children first become unpatriotic in this country?

Maybe she had the flu. Who knows? Just typical non-issue stuff that Republicans bring up all the time.

Exactly and there's too much damage control AND GOD forbid a comparison be made between her nastiness and Governor Palin now LOL.

The funny thing is wherever she goes she attracts hate mongering like Whoopi Goldberg hung her up good on the View. With friends like that who needs enemies.

They're even sending OBAMA back on the fluff shows all week to try and hypnotize all the people who saw his true mean hateful self these past two weeks.

All the regulars bailing him out...Letterman, The View, SNL...

Oh don't be jealous. McCain will be on The View and Rachel Ray. And he's already done Letterman, Leno, and SNL too. Check your local listings. LOL

You missed the memo, you have kids, then you leave them with someone else to raise and then you are called mother of the year, but if you dare to stay home and take care of them, instead of meeting the needs of strangers on a computer forum, you are horrid. Mrs McCain is an older woman without family responsibilities for small children, great for her.

You are SO MEAN I swear.

Mrs Messiah OBAMA is a MOTHER staying at HOME with her children which as was pointed out is not a crime in this country. She is not some hussy like "you know who", who thinks she can do it all yeah right.

And Mrs Messiah OBAMA HAS BEEN serving her country she just got "busy" on September 11, 2008....the year she expects her Messiah to be elected to the highest office in the land and there was no reason to go to silly old ground zero. You are cynical.

After all , she was just on Ellen a day or so ago, serving a cause greater than herself. HEY WAIT. THAT WAS MONDAY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE CHILDREN!

ROFLMAO I guess it was ok to drag them up on a DNC stage but not important enough for them to attend this historic 2008 ceremony.
