I guess I'm the only one who is looking that the
facts.
When you work for a newspaper or you write a book, you will always have editors, proofreaders, etc. Most politicians employ speechwriters. However, that's much different from reading a pre-written speech you memorized for 5 days. The "pit bull" line was original, since she's used it in other speeches. However, even McCain's campaign manager confirmed the speech was written weeks in advance for a male candidate and they needed to rework it. Speech writer Marc Scully (who BTW wrote most of Bush's speeches) said he had to tailor it for Palin. I wasn't criticizing her for the speech, since she did a great job delivering it. Biden also has speech writers. I was simply saying we need to hear her when she hasn't been carefully coached, briefed and scripted.
I read that Obama wrote his own acceptance speech in many articles and news sources, but is Time Magazine good enough for you?

BTW, why did you mention that his speechwriters are White? Hmm...
Are you saying that a man who has a degree from Columbia and a Doctorate of Law from Harvard and was President of the Harvard Law Review, taught college, etc., cannot think for himself because he is Black?
Edit: Here is an article from the NY Times from January about being an Obama speech writer. It says writing a speech for Obama is like being Ted Williams batting coach. In other words, he's an accomplished author and keynote speaker.
