Too bad Palin's answer addresses none of these changes. Her answer was barely relevant to anything on that page. She gave a generic answer about terrorism, not about justifying a preemptive war on another nation. It's as if she had no clue about any of what the National Review could find with a quick search.
It doesn't matter. Nobody really cares about the Bush doctrine. I've almost never heard the Bush doctrine talked about on this board. Now all of a sudden liberals are clinging to it like it's the Constitution.

To say that nobody cares about the Bush Doctrine is ludicrous. Do you not think the American people care about how our President decides to take us to war? Do you think Americans care about whether we justify another Iraq? Do you think they care whether or not we invade Iran, or Russia?
Granted, most people probably do not know the term by name, but a potential President sure as hell should. Bush fundamentally changed the principles upon which we take this country into a war. Specifically he justified a preemptive war - a very dangerous policy change that has effected every American. And the potential next VP should know a little something about it.
