I'd rather have someone who pauses to articulate his thought and be cerebral, and is not condesending (Palin), says things like "chlidrens do learn", (Bush) and thinks that Czecheslovkia is still a country (McCain).
If you can take the way Bush talks, what is so bad about Obama's pausing (go to .... if you think it's stuttering, you know damn well it's not).

No, he does not stutter. He does have the bad habit of using filler words such as 'um' and 'ah'. I know a man who worked with ceos to help them improve their public speaking habits. He said the overuse of 'fillers' was a very common and a very difficult habit to break.

He is always thinking about having it both ways.

He said that without stuttering, a comment that you know damn well had nothing to do with Palin.

So what if he looks at all sides and stammers before responding to issues.
I can think of a lot worse qualities.

But if you are having a good time making fun of his speech patterns, have at it. I'll patiently listen to what he has to say without worrying so much about how he says it.

You're right.

It's been so good for America the past eight years with a dry drunk in the White House.
