I'm asking Democrats, not Republicans. Does it bother you that Obama has moved so far to the right on some issues or do you believe he's just saying what he's saying now to get elected?

Republicans don't know this (and why should they be expected too?) but Obama has always been a centrist and to the right of Clinton. He has never shown himself to be a left wing Democrat. I'm telling you this as a far left Democratic perspective.

Source please. You might want to use Spell Check while you're at it.

Really? This gives me some hope that their just may be bipartisanship should obama be elected.
I am confused though, I have read that obama has the most liberal voting record in the senate.....could you give examples to contradict this?

If Obama's interview last evening was any indication, he almost sounded like an American! Actually, I thought he gave good answers and was surprised at his remarks concerning allowing ROTC BACK onto campuses. Very similar to McCain's views on service it seems.

I always thought he was more moderate than anything else, at least from my point of view. So I guess it isn't surprising me any more than it would have at any point in time.

He's with Republicans on a lot of Education Reform - namely making sure that teachers who perform well get better pay, and ones who do not get fired.

He's actually been pretty hawkish on stances with Pakistan, even more so than many Republicans.

He's actually for more tax cuts than many Democrats.

That whole "most-liberal" label is a from an organization that changes the criteria for that, uh, award. It's not a coincidence that the Democratic Presidential nominee always "wins" that title.
