When Sarah Palin was mayor of Wasilla, the city billed sexual assault victims and their insurance companies for the cost of rape kits and forensic examinations. If you were on the town's council for four years and then headed it for six, wouldn't you change this??

Wouldn't it be terrible to be a rape victim in this country if Sarah Palin had her way? First, you would have to pay to have a forensic test done so they could catch the perp. Then, you would be forced to carry and deliver the baby if a pregnancy resulted.

How can a woman be so anti-woman?

Maybe Palin shares McCain's views about rape. He thinks it is something to joke about. She sees it as something the victim should pay for.

Ummm...

Washington DC was built on a swamp.

Its political core has always been called "The Swamp."

"The Swamp" is the official DC blog for the Chicago Tribune.

It winks to the fact that political DC has always been called "the swamp."

"ABOUT TRIBUNE

TRIBUNE is America’s largest employee-owned media company, operating businesses in publishing, interactive and broadcasting, including ten daily newspapers and commuter tabloids, 23 television stations, WGN America, WGN-AM and the Chicago Cubs baseball team." - their About

just for the record many hospitals charge insurance or the patient and if they do not have insurance most hospitals will absorb the cost.
