I believe you. I'm not saying that race will have either a conscious or subconscious effect on everybody's vote. But I'm betting it will for enough of us that it will be a factor. Do you agree that many blacks will vote for Obama primarily for that reason? And that may women who voted for Hillary in the primary mostly because of her gender, have now shifted to McCain/Palin for the same reason?

I agree that many blacks will vote for Obama just because he's black, yes. I don't agree that many Hillary supporters will vote for Pail just because she's a woman. I think a small number will, but voters who are really informed know that Hillary and Palin have two completely different political agendas.

That's for damn sure. But are you telling me that you believe only a "small number" of American voters, black, white, male or female, are uninformed?

Bush has tilted the playing field so that it favors the top 3% of the population. The country's middle class is all but a memory. Class Warfare? You must have a ton of bread, and by the way, I don't do so bad myself, got the nice house in the suburbs, the two late model luxury cars in the garage, etc., but that's not an excuse for not seeing. Obama's not hawking socialism. He's hawking a political system that's not in the pocket of the elitist of the elite.

Nor does it have anything to do with her color she could be white with the same features and I would of thought the same. Now if Obama had a wife who looks like Suzanne Malveaux I am sure the reaction to his wife (first lady) would of been different. Rather people want to admit it or not looks are important! Palin draws a lot of attention due to her looks.
You're scary Manoa girl. Are you really a girl, a female, and this is how you judge another woman? I'm betting you are on the young side, on the cute side too, huh Manoa girl, and I'd say it's safe to say a little on the shallow side as well, right? I hate to be the one to break it to you sweetie, but looks fade, as will yours, and then you may have to start judging people differently, as you will need to be judged with a less critical eye.

Yeah, and I was shocked by that too. After the first four years, I would have thought that the large majority would have been onto Bush and Cheney and the Neo-cons. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ... well you know the rest. But three times? Because that's what a vote for McCain is, a vote for more George Bush. So fool me three times and well, we need a new adage; shame on us all.

Name me an issue where McCain has provided the determining substance to get your vote and Obama has not.

There's really not much remarkable about Obama, other than the fact that he can deliver a good speech and is not white.
What's remarkable about Hillary Clinton? If she hadn't been married to a president would she have been elected Senator?

Point to an issue that he's lied about.
