PLease cite Obama's welfare program from his platform. Look, here it is:

I'll tell you that I am against marxism, socialism, liberalism, and statism though. All of which Obama has promised to vigorously push upon us if, God forbid, he is elected in November.
You mean like the Marxist Socialist Statist in the WH who's sticking you for the Fannie Mae Freddy Mac bailout? And the upcoming Lehman Bros bailout? Which are results of the Phil Gramm Bush-McCain ("I dont know about the economy") laissez-faire business climate which Obama wishes to curtail (see Coburn-Obama bill) if you will just let him?

Do you understand it's likely we're still paying for the S&L bailouts of the 80s and 90s? .

This is who you want to elect as Big Business's next clueless puppet, I mean your next leader: Think Progress » McCain: ‘The Issue Of Economics Is Not Something I’ve Understood As Well As I Should’

Actually in a RED state it wouldn't matter a bit. In a red state I'd only be working at the congressman/senator level.

In a BLUE state it probably wouldn't matter either.

I live in Texas. You can't get redder than that. I know that my vote for Obama will not matter, but I am still voting for him.

You forgot (5) Extremely poor judgment as evidenced by: A) He didn't pick Hillary. B) He used and possibly still uses illegal drugs and didn't seem to think that was a big deal and C) He smokes cigarettes and IF he has quit - and that's a big if - it was only very recently.

Why do you say "possibly still uses"?

Because you hope it's true?

LOL, he's so obviously a drug fiend. He's skinny - must be cocaine. I think cocaine is part of the "elitist" cartoon, right?

The people who purport to support McCain on this site probably can't vote for him anyway. Most of them seem to be folks who ended up with access to a computer when the attendents took a break and left the day room unlocked and unattended. In real life Rs are just as nice as Ds, not so online.

Oh and anyone who says they were out canvassing on a Saturday and talked to anyone at more than 45 or 50% of their "doors", is flat out lying. Unless they were in a retirement community.

I live in a red state and I know my vote for McCain will just be overkill, but I am still voting for him.

There is a save the world campaign at my school. Of course they endorse Obama.

"We're going to change the world with our votes!"
