It seems we have yet another misleading anti-Obama ad, misleading enough to make the reporters at Army Times take notice.

McCain on FCS: Flip-flop or fib? - Army News, opinions, editorials, news from Iraq, photos, reports - Army Times

So, now I'm waiting for the McCain supporters to call this a 'liberal rag.'

I was talking with some Army folks the other day and mentioned that I thought that a lot of people are voting for McCain because they thought that by doing so they were supporting the Armed Forces. They were shocked to think that people really believed that and maybe they are right and I am wrong. But they told me that if I talked with anyone who really did believe that I should tell them NO, NO please don't vote for McCain on my account. They were discussing how they are soldiers and they know that there will be times they have to fight. But what they object to is going back to do a
5th tour in "the sandbox" for no good reason when they should have been in Afghanistan long ago so that it could have been long over and the mission could have been accomplished.

The site has some credibility at least, unlike anything posted by the right wing morons on this forum, didn't Army Times say Rumsfeld must go?

LML: And that's exactly what Obama has said.

No, it's a special interest rag that doesn't like a guy who'll tell them "no" when they want more money than he believes is justified. Crazy, huh?

Yeah, you're right. How could they possibly not like a guy who said 'no' to body armor, reinforced humvees and quality medical care?
Those 'special interests' couldn't possibly have been justified.

I haven't seen one ad of McCain's that wasn't misleading. I'll even go as far to say that McCain's jump in the poles is due to him and his cronies being better liers then Obama and his. Even during the RNC all they did was spout lies to get applause. I didn't hear one idea that they were going to bring to the White House. Oh, yeah except for that earmark thing that Palin has already received but now says she going to stop. You know, thanks but no thanks.

Funny, but I believe Bush said that too. Oh, that's right McCain supported most of what Bush wanted didn't he? But I'm sure he'd be so different than George if he got elected. Don't you?

Oh, I know, I know, he's such a bad man! It's so grand that you're able to make those accusations because no one in the world is going to bother to read the hundreds of pages of bills to find out the why for which he voted against such things... I don't know, maybe it's because for a bill that calls for $1M worth of body armor, some Congresspeople put $100M worth of earmarks in it. Being a special interest, such as the military, they don't care what other projects have to be included to get enough votes for what they want, for instance, a shrimp zoo in Montana (not an actual earmark that I'm aware of, just an example of how ridiculous they are).

Not only do you special interest folks not care what else taxpayers are forced to support for you to get what you want (note: that's how special interests sell America) you get angry when someone isn't willing to sell the whole country for what you want. Enter: John McCain.

John McCain stands up to people like the military because he knows that to make a change you have to draw a line and hold it. John McCain holds the line against special interest-- whether it be a billion dollar aircraft that doesn't make sense or a bridge to nowhere.

Your opposition in this regard is parasitic against America.
